Ōamaru Pop Up Exhibition: Colour Me Creative

Colour Me Creative showcased a diverse selection of work from a group of eight Palmerston artists, and invited the public to express thier own creativity with colouring, crafts, and a selfie station. On the last day, we held an artist talks event, with three of us discussing our practice, process, and inspiration.

Some highlights from the event were getting loads of compliments from neighbouring shops about our colourful window, bringing together some of the artists in our little town, and several people telling me that after seeing our show they felt inspired to get creative.

The exhibiting artists were: Kristen Breet, Leanne Breet, Annemieke Brok, Alicia Hall, Dianne Lewis, Christine Leov-Lealand, David Peterson, and Zenobia Southcombe.
